On 12th December, Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hotel & Spa will welcome guests to the first Inspiring Women networking event – a brand new group event created by Sheffield Chamber.
From 12 noon until 2pm, guests will be welcomed into the elegant surroundings of the hotel’s Tea Room where they will be treated to a traditional Afternoon Tea along with a welcome drink on arrival. Sheffield Chamber is committed to supporting diversity in the workplace and this event will give business professionals across the city the chance to create new relationships with like-minded women.
The event’s key note speaker is Stella Steele, Director of Operations at Sheffield Chamber, who will tell guests her inspiring story of how she juggled her career with being a mum, overcoming a brain tumour, all while achieving a Master’s Degree in Employment Law. Stella is a passionate advocate of workplace equality and is the perfect speaker for this inaugural event.
Garin Davies, CEO at Vine Hotels said:
‘It’s a real honour to work in partnership with the Sheffield Chamber to help facilitate events such as this. The Inspiring Women Network is committed to providing equal opportunities for all and their ethos is aligned with ours. We look forward to welcoming guests at future events at Kenwood Hall and indeed at Vine Hotel venues across the city.’
Stella Steele, Director of Operations at Sheffield Chamber adds:
‘The Tea Room at Kenwood Hall is the perfect venue for our very first Inspiring Women Network event. It’s a beautiful setting ideally geared towards an event like this and we know that guests will enjoy making new connections and taking away valuable information and contacts.’
